    we started pulling the bucket seats and when we pulled the off the drivers side check out what we found lol... View attachment 34298 I wonder how long its been since somebody used the 8-track :rofl: it was mounted to the bottom of the seat by a hose clamp! :rofl2:

    i also got the build sheet from under the seat and its almost perfect!

    so i ended up with Valve covers, kick panels, headlight trim, almost perfect Comet hood with trim, Rear window defroster, all the Comet symbols and two bucket seats with the tracks...not bad for $35 i guess :thumbs2:

    its weird, whenever i find a parts car its always a comet :hmmm:

    Thanks! if we go back up there i'm pretty sure he has another set and i'll see if he'll sell it. i paid $25 for those so only $10 was spent on all the other stuff

    they sure are. the purpose of the vinal top was to make them rust so the maverick guys would have cheap parts cars
