    I think you mean "console"...

    Haven't done it myself...
I have always thought a 71-73 Stang console might look good in there.
    Should be a close fit.
The Cruiser console might work fine too... Mustang repop houses have them in many stock colors. The only thing is they are spendy. $175ish.

Here on the site, I have seen members post pics of the following consoles:
    Mustang 2
    Granada
    Fox body T-Bird
    Homemade

Some other sources for consoles that would be a fair match:
72-74 Torino (a bit tall, with lots of plastic)
70-71 Torino (a bit short, but very nice)
    Cougar?

    Just some thoughts.
If you do it, make sure you post details.
I like pics of member consoles, they give great ideas for what can be done to our cars.

Make one out of a block of wood. Then use a hammer bang a piece of sheet metal around it. Easy custom console and pretty cheap too.

That looks real good. I definately like stock/factory consoles over any of the others. I've been wanting to try one out of a '79-'86 Fox Body 'stang and use the pull up emergency brake setup and everything. Got other things on the car I need to worry about first though.

I like the drink holders. That's the one interior item I wish my car had...

You may be thinking about the '87-'93 Console. The '79-'86 just has a clock and a little diagram of the car with LED's in it that shows when you have a light burned out or are almost of gas and stuff.
