Here are a few pics of the show I attended in Fayetteville, GA yesterday. No trophies or prizes were given, so it was just a show and shine event. Enjoy.... The Maverick is owned by Mike, a new owner. Says he has only had the car for a few months. Gave him the address for the site, and I hope he will join up. Real nice guy.
Thanks for the pics. That small bumpered Maverick has chrome trim around the wheel wells. Did they offer that in 70-72's?? Nice looking Maverick either way.
It must be a conversion because the Maverick script was put on the sail panel in 73. The back bumper is not 73 so I'd say it was a converted big bumper car.
'67 i think..i had a ss 396 '67 in 1968. wish i had just sold it yesterday, they are going for about $25 grand now. looks like a nice show...frank...
Thanks, guys. My favorite was the '41 Packard. The owners and their kids showed up in period formal wear. The guy in a period correct tux and top hat and his wife in a period correct formal with a fox stole. The kids the same. Funny, when the pic session was over, the costumes came off with one or two buttons and they had shorts and T-shirts on underneath. Great effect. I just got there too late to get pics of the people. Great show, looking forward to it next month. Earl
