My Mav was made in Canada - is there anything special about that fact?

Nope...not really. Lots and lots of Mavericks/Comets were made there.

Well.....one thing special: It will have a body buck tag on the front radiator support (or at least it should have one).

When it was new, it would have come with a liter of Maple Syrup in the trunk.

The great thing about a Canadian Maverick is that you can take it to all the import races down here.:D

If you ever have to get some side windows for it you may have a problem as the holes in the glass are in different locations than American made Mavericks

Did they measure the distance between the holes in the window track in centimeters instead of inches? :p

The other interesting thing about Canadian-made Mavericks is that a lot more time would elapse between the build date and their dealer delivery date ... the dogsled team would get tired often, dragging around so much weight.
