    I just won me a carpet kit on ebay, was wondering while I'm waiting for it can I put my rear seat in or should I just wait? my 2door

    You could upgrade you carpet underlayment to
    modern materials that reflect heat and keep
    noise down.

    I have heard of people using that spray-on bedliner material not only under carpet but in the door panels and on the roof both inside (under the headliner) and on the part that used to be vinyl covered. If done properly it reduces the noise and heat alot and looks cool on the outside as an option to vinyl for the roof.
