Careful partner :), I've got my eye on those bumpers for my 73. You don't see much available like this in our neck of the woods.

    it's ok, go for it.
I just put some cash down on new rims.

$85.00 each. ION Alloy P71 model.

I wanted the American Racing Outlaw II's but AR shut down all of their Canadian distribution centers and from what I've been told by the 5-6 tire places I called for quotes, their service is crap and their prices have hiked.

Nice. I found a set of these 15x7 wheels at a junkyard for $40ea. Score:dancing: Brand new is better though.

About the bumper conversion though, I bought a 73 bumper for my 74 big bumper Comet and learned I need brackets that weld into the trunk to mount it. Anyone know where I can purchase these brackets? The bumper came with the 73 hardware but one of the bolts is rusted and will also need to be replaced (anyone got a spare?). I also learned after I got the bumper that I also need the qtr extensions. I got a line on a pair from craiglist. This is a lot of fun, better than racing rats if you know what I mean...(y)
