Bumper or no bumper??

I almost don't want to run a bumper....but then again, it's not me I have to worry about.

 

I think it looks better with the bumper, plus what if some one rear ends you? It would do a ton of damage with out bumper!!

 

I just relized,it that a big bumber car? If it is maybe think of converting to small bumber?

 

It is a small (rear) bumper car. If someone rear ends him with a small bumper, it's going to do a ton of damage with OR without a bumper.

Definitely dosen't look right without the bumper IMO, though.

 

It's not a big bumper car, it's a 73. They used the same rear bumper as 70-72, it just has bigger brackets for the improved crash ratings. I already converted it to 72 style brackets.

 

I think you should put the front bumper on the back and the back on the front just to be different.

 

I could do it with a big hammer.

 

How about painting it white to match the valence?

 

In Mo. you have to have some form of a bumper whether it be inside the trunk or what ever. Granted they are pieces of light metal why not set it against the tail light panel and mold against the car? But IMO I think it looks better to have the bumper

actually as lightweight as that small bumper is, an older woman was rearended in her 72 maverick out here, and it kept the car workable. Granted, the car that hit her was a dodge avenger, and bent the valance panel up more.

Smoot it over it woudl look good put in some small vertical bumperettes you know like on street rods,

 

I think a pressure treated 4X4 would look good.

 

I'd say run a bumper, but paint it white or maybe the same color as your spoiler.

 

I have a 2X4 I think I'll use, it's alot cheaper than painting or getting a bumper chromed.
