I recently pulled a pair of buckets from a 69 Torino parts car and took pics of them. Most people identified them as 70 Mustang seats on another ford forum. What are the differences between these and early Grabber buckets?I saw two sets of Grabber seats on ebay and they look very similar to the ones I have in my garage now.
If 70 Mustang and Maverick high back buckets do happen to be the same does anyone know where I can get new covers and foam for them?Or does anyone know where I can buy Maverick interior parts at all? Thanks.

71-72 Maverick/Comet bucket seats use the same frame as 71-73 Mustang seats.

I have been told here, and by someone very active in the Mustang community, that 69-70 Mustang frames differ somewhat from 71-73... what that is, I do not know, but I have been lead to believe that you can't put 71-73 Mustang or Maverick skins on 69-70 Mustang frames.

I will say that I really like the 69-70 Mach 1 upholstery a lot, and those seats should bolt right in to a Mav if you use Mav seat tracks ... that will be the big challenge ... hard to find. Get the rear seat upholstered to match (it would be custom ... Mach 1 rear seats are way different) and that would be one very good-looking interior.

I have an auto krafters catalog and it doesn't show any seat covers or foam but it is a couple of years old.I also looked on their website and it only shows aftermarket seats.I would just cover them in Mach I covers if I could find some in blue.I was going to change it to black but that just seems too generic.
