One of my good buddies insists that I should put the original Grabber caps & rings on, instead of the poor man's hubcaps that I chose. He further tells me that I will have to drive around with one of my turn signals on all the time to match that hubcap look! What is he saying? I'm old? Opinions welcome...

To each his own. You are your worst critic so please yourself. That is much more rewarding (and easier) than trying to please anyone else. I was never a fan of those hub caps you used, but that sure looks sweet with the matching blue rims. You've certainly changed my mind.

My yellow Maverick will have the same look, except I am using the "flat" dogdish hubcap. I have already painted the wheels body color and mounted new white letter tires. It has the Nascar look to it now. I will get the wheels balanced and put on the caps.

Needless to say...I like the "poverty" look.
