Yesterday, Frank, Chris and I put new drilled and slotted rotors on my car. Man, did they look and work good. These things are too pretty to put behind solid wheels, but........Here are a few pics.

Very nice! Did you need new rotors or just wanted them? :)

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
looks good! (y) rotors were a good deal huh!

btw though... i think your rotors are on backwards.. well at least what i think i see in the pic its backwards.

the slots should be going the other direction.. like this

i know that looks backwards, however since they are not wilwoods or brembos they are best to be put on the other way.. the guy you got them from said to me when i picked mine up... that to the make sure they were not put on like typical sloted rotors.

i mean they will work but they will eat up the pads way quicker!

just thought i'd let you know... then again i could be looking at the photo upside down and backwards :p

Looks good Earl! I want to get a set of those, but mine are fine and were put on New and have less than 8,000 miles on them now ...so I`m gonna wait it out I guess.

I know! I know Frank! They`d have alot more miles on them if I`d drive the car more! :biglaugh:

My dad got some just like that off Ebay about a year ago for his '95 Mustang. I put them on with the slots aiming the same direction as they are currently on your car, Earl. It'll be a year in December and my dad drives the living crap out of that car every day. The pads haven't hardly worn at all.

Stock; got them over the internet at: rotorpros.com They offer them with the centers powdercoated in about 5 colors, and they offer only slotted, only drilled, and plain. I think they are going to be worth the bucks...$140 delivered to my door. The AutoZone wanted $69 for the Chinese knockoffs, and these are lots thicker than the AZ rotors. Now I just have to wait and see how they wear.

Thanks for the compliments on the rotors and the car.

    Take care,

    Earl

Jerry; Frank did a lot. He and Chris did most of the work in fact. We had a very good day!
BTW, you going to Moultrie this year?
