I'm having great difficulty finding the correct master for my 1970 Maverick. Does anyone know a part number or replacement for the master cyl?

    Thanks for the help

'70-'73 should all be the same. You should be able to get one at any auto parts store. '74 and up will work with brake line adapters.

According to NAPA's web sight, a remanufactured one is part#TS101484 and a new one is part# SS4739495.

while on the subject of master cylinders/brakes, yesterday I saw a 1970 maverick with
disk brakes and manual disk brake master cylinder. did they come optional with disk brakes in 1970 ? I know a retrofit are not hard to do. it has the same master cylinder as my 76 maverick.
