I have a friend who works at Memphis Aero near the airport. He tells me he can get steel braided 3/8 inch fuel line with or without fittings. It would be nice to run a flexible fuel line through the maverick. He says he can get me around 25 ft or so. If it works for aircraft it should work on a car, wouldn't you think???
I don't know, but it sure would make it alot easier. It's a PITA trying to duplicate the bends of the stock line on a piece of 3/8ths brake line. Just have to be careful to mount it in a way so that it dosen't get kinked or closed up.
3/8 is probably -6, so it'll work well. can make life much easier & meets the safety rules at the track.
Make sure that it will fit through the area at the torque boxes without chafing(sp?) or rubbing. Such a deal. Seth
There is a problem here aircraft wire braided hose is lined with teflon not rubber and is hard to make your own lines up with out the propper equipment so check before you get to excited..
AUSSIEBJ my friend has the equipment and says he will make up the correct hoses for my needs. He works at Memphis Aero in the shop so he has access to the machines...Jim
Ok that will work, good luck.. hay any time friends can help out that means more money for other stuff
