Wow do these cars get addictive! We were looking for a solid car to replace Mike's (BigSmo92) current 75 Maverick. I just got a 74 Grabber from Georgia that is pretty much rust free. Well we decided to go look at a 74 Maverick in Missouri that was supposed to be a CA car and rust free. It really is rust free! It has probably the tackiest cheap paint job I have seen yet. But when we pulled up the first thing we noticed were the grabber wheels, then the two sport mirrors, then the black grill. Sure enough the vin shows it is a grabber. So now we have two 74 Grabbers and two 75 standard mavericks. Just kind of cool. Can't wait for a decent day to get pics of the new mavericks and pics of all four together. Mike's 75 has a leaking cowl, floor pans almost rusted through and some other problems so we are going to get anything usable off it then scrap it. My 75 has been for sale but she is now going to get the 302 from the newest Grabber which is getting the motor from Mike's current 75 then we will work on her a little at a time. Mike's Grabber will get painted back to the orginal white and blue. I would just take a quick pic of the tacky paint job now to show but the boys jumped in it at 7:30 and took off for school. It takes 5 mins for them to get to school and they have to be there at 8am. Usually can't get them up before 7:15 but today they were up dressed and out the door and on the way to school early. Makes a Mom proud to see them so devoted to putting in extra time at their school work, I am sure they went straight to school to do extra credit projects.
Uh oh!!! Another one bites the dust. Next thing you know you got 6, then 8, then 10. You'll never be the same again. I have the help line number saved in my phone when you get ready for it. Yeah, SURE!!! You can quit anytime you want!!! Right?
