Man, that isn't even a Mav grill... I wonder if this is the same guy who had the plain ol' 6 cylinder tranny crossmember listed as a Boss 302 Maverick tranny crossmember?

I emailed him about the 6 cyl cross member. He said he didn't he didn't realize there was a difference between the 6 cyl and the V-8 versions. He respected me informing him of this difference, and understood my experirence in these cars as he said "I see your posts on the message board all the time".

Be carefull what you post/say....you never know who is reading/listening.

I'm sorry, I changed it. I am just so used to people who think they know what they are talking about and won't listen to anyone else even if they are wrong - thankfully, this guy is not one of them. I have emailed a few guys about mislabled Mav parts on ebay and the responces were not very friendly, to say the least - I guess I'll keep on trying.....

Yeah...I was surprised he wrote me back as well....and he appreciated my "tip".

I like the auctions they list it as being for a GRABBER...as if that makes it more desireable....when it works for a regular Maverick as well.

Well, I feel bad now. I shouldn't ridicule someone who is sincere in describing what they think (or have been told) they have. Not everyone who sells a few parts on eBay knows as much about the history of the Maverick as most who visit this website do.

It wasn't that long ago that I would have believed someone who told me Ford made a Boss Maverick.
