    73 grabber 302 auto
I have a 73 Maverick Grabber 302 auto car.It has had patches in two spots in the floor, badly needs quarters, doors, one fender, and a hood. The engine is also worn out as is the trans. The interior is decent but I have plans of redoing it.I rebuilt the front end about a year ago and someone put disc brakes on it before I bought it.I have a roller 302 and a built C4 and 9 inch to go in it as well as all the sheet metal to fix the rust.
Two days ago one of my friends said a Comet has been sitting at the shop next to his shop for at least a year and it is super straight. It is not a GT just a 302 auto car with perfect floors. So I go look at it and only found about two thumbnail sized rust holes. The car is already stripped.Parts of the car look like it would be a 72 and others look to be 73.The build date is 9-72 which explains the combination of parts. Both cars are blue.
So do I abandon the 73 I have been driving and accumulating parts for the last two years and buy the Comet, and turn it into a Comet with grabber front end since I have the parts including grabber hood,Build a comet GT clone,a combo of the two,or build the Comet to drive and SLOWLY fix the Grabber?I have too many projects at this point and don't really have the time to tear the Maverick apart and fix the rust quickly and put it back together.
The Comet also has a clear title and is for sale as the owner ran out of money and the shop it is at wants it gone.:hmmm:

Buy it! Make the best one complete and part the other one out.

Which ever car has the LEAST rust is the one I would fix.
