backfire when almost topped rpm?

    okay my friends maverick (302) backfire's when he revves it almost maxed out it spits flame's out like no other i really wanna know what this is he doesnt have a header leak or any leaks its his carb i think? its a edelbrock 1405. any explonation? ( i kinda wanna do this just to scare little honda's )

    Where is it backfiring from? The intake or exhaust? Oh and btw the Hondas i hang out with make 400+whp and they shoot flames too, but thats do to the 2step anti lag ;)

    exhaust......okay i like honda's i admit it.......lol my friends gotta 96 integra gsr spooned out and all ready boosted like crazy. anyway
