See if you guys can help me out. Just reinstalled the motor and trans (250/C4) in our 73 Mav. While the trans was out I removed the steel vacuum lines that go to the trans and cant for the life of me remember how to route them, plus now I only need ONE as we went to the later model modulator. My transmission guy said to use the larger line, but where does it go and to what vacuum source? Any help guys? I did a pretty good job labeling most everything and even took pictures, but somehow over looked this as I'm sure it seemed obvious at the time...lol.
    Thanks

    Side of the intake manifold.

My dad knows some guys over in Cedartown. They run Haney's Towing Service.

    Jamie,
Thanks...that does look like one end of one of the lines...but from the overall shape of mine I dont see how its going to route right. But maybe I can jsut bend it as needed and go ahead on. Thanks.
    Brad

PS I dont know the Haneys but Ive heard of the towing service.

Yea when I had my engine and trans out I had a hard time figgureing out how to get it routed to. I ended up just stabbing it down in there and bending and moving it around until it looked ok. I'm still not really happy with how it's routed now, but it works for the time being. Just gotta get the vacccum from the manifold to the modulator.

Man I learn something new everyday. Never seen a vac hookup like that. Everything I've worked on has had them at the rear of the intake manifold, or on the carb itself.
As far as the way its routed... I wouldn't worry about it, keep it away from the exast and you should be good.

That is a six-banger ... the vacuum source is on the intake log ...
