Are these disc brake spindles??

    I have spindles on my 71 Comet that have a code of 5D7AA. The previous owner converted the front drums to disc brakes and I have no idea what parts they used.

    Would these spindles be "disc" brake spindles and not drum brake spindles.

    Agreed. My Maverick disc brake spindles have the same number stamped into that location: 5D-7-AA, and Ford 113 is also stamped on mine.

    Based on the part code I am assuming these are '77 spindles.

    Does that sound right?
