Are buckets seat brackets sloped rearward or level?

I pulled my front bench out and fabricated brackets for my new bucket seats. In looking at the "topography" of the floor pan, I am believing that there should be a slight rearward slope (from front to back, but level side to side) for the brackets. I am trying to use an old hole or two in the process.

Am I right that there is a slight rearward slope for bucket seats or should I install the brackets level all the way around (front/back and side to side)?

Thank you so much. That helps alot. Hope to have the interior done by Sunday (seats, carpet, stereo, speakers, LED's in dash. Then start on putting in the rebuilt motor after that. I am getting excited. I think I am 2-3 weeks away from having a fast one.

Wheels, tires and paint in the spring.

I have drill three holes for the buckets on each side just cause the sizing is a little different.

well it all depends on how you want it to sit.. you can have the "raked" feeling of leaning back, or the sitting up feeling..

when i put new mustang floorboards, i noticed that the floors are level. and so i put a slight tilt into the seats when i installed them.
