Are all Mav hoods same except grabber ?

Need some help guys, i'm in dire need of a hood, wind trashed mine, long story and i dont wanna bore ya.

Anyways are all Maverick hoods the same ? I know the Grabber is different but the stock hoods look all the same to me, BTW i have a 70.

If anyone has an extra that will work for my car and is fairly close to me i'd drive and pay ya for it.

 

Yup all mavericks have the same hood, grabber hood will also fit all mavericks

 

They all interchange, they're not all 100% identical but only small stuff is different.

 

69.5 hoods don't have the diamond shape, in the under hood framing.

 

By "small" stuff thats what I meant, emblems and the frame difference that Dave mentioned. Not to mention 71/72 grabber hoods have two scoops on it.

How are those not a difference? I would call them a difference.

 

I have a 69 1/2 with a 74 hood. Same hood. there all the same.

 

Prop rod hole is different on an early hood

I am so close to painting this turd it's not even funny, then i ran into the hood problem and i've been pulling my hair out ever since.

 

with that being said...this hoods going to cost Ya...

 

Interesting I thought only the 69 1/2 - 70 hood lacked the diamond in the inner structure. Aparently it carried into 71 as indicated by the Grabber hood above.

 

Thanks for the pics rthomas, my hood has no diamond in the support frame. It's identical to the red hood, other than a few HUGE dents.

 

My car is a 77 and when I put the carbon fiber hood on, I had to change the prop rod from a side mount to a front mount. Otherwise they fit the same. and the latch and hinges are the same.
