AOD Trans. Speedo Gear.

    1971 Comet Complete restore
    I Have used a AOD Trans. in 1971 Comet. I need to know what Speedo grear to use in it. It has 302 Auto Trans. AOD rear end is 370 245/45/17 tires.

    Yes it is a 1971 Mercury Comet.

    Sam, I have a 3:55 gear, and use the black gear (21 tooth, if memory is correct). Contact Craig Selvey, he can tell you the right gear, and generally has them to sell. Good luck, would be nice to see you some time.
