AOD Questions

    I know this has probably been asked a million times. But i know where a AOD out of a 94 mustang is. What all goes into the making of it fit. Driveshaft? Transmission Crossmember? And What are the advantages of the AODE?

    '94 had AODE and requires it's own controller/computer to operate the OD. not worth the hassle

    Id almost say if a guy had the budget for it. That would be the way to go. But, the internals will fit in a aod for a hugh strength and durability upgrade.

    If you can get the 94 AODE cheap enough and find a core AOD you can swap the parts from the AODE into the AOD case and use the AOD valve body.

    You need a different transmission bar thing, 71 gold makes them.
