What kind of headers can I run without having clearance issues? I was gonna buy summit brand headers but I'm not sure if they will fit with the aod?
I got those on my car I put them in a couple weeks ago, and they come awfully close to everything but they fit just fine with the AOD. I did have to put a drop bracket on my power steering cylinder, as with most headers, and you do have to run a floor shifter. There are also alot of people that have had good luck with the Hooker 6901's too, and the same goes for those, a drop bracket on the power steering, and a floor shifter too. Just make sure you get with Frank (71Gold) and get a AOD crossmember well worth the price.
