I figured it could be in the best interest of all of us since we could get a better deal and he can get multiple orders...

Already $150....Emailed him and he said he would discount for multiple orders.

Makes them for just about any v 8 ford. Between FordMuscle, the 385 board, and 335 board there are about 13 orders...I just posted on the FE Forums, FordMaverick.com and Windsor forums tonight...and posted on the others monday morning.

At 10 sets would be a 10% discount...not sure how much more of a discount for any more...but he did say put together an order and he will discount us.

A guy on the 385 boards bought a set already and I made request he try them out and get back to us on any sealing issues...

Thinking of confirming the order at the end of this week...or beginning of next week pending no leak problems.

Let me know what you guys think....

My buddy has a set on his 302... He hasn't had any problems that I'm aware of.
I wouldn't mind having a set, but I have a set of Aluminum ones etched w/ flames in them... But I may consider buying a set, for the right price

Wouldn't give $.02 for 'em....at least not the ones my bro has. The rails are thin, the screws were too long, the screws don't quite line up with the head, and they are a total PITA to get them off/on quickly to do valve adjustments....plus there are no baffles in them to keep oil out of the PCV valve/breathers.

By the time he gets on side off, I've already set the valves on both banks and got one cover back on mine. Mine are the Motorsport cast-polished aluminum covers and may not be the best covers or the most attractive, but they fit and fit as they're intended (and don't leak!!). I'd rather have a well built cover that doesn't leak than some junk that leaks/doesn't fit and looks good.

I forgot about that.. he did have a heck of a time getting those things to quit leaking oil around the oil cap/breather.
I never thought about time taking them on/off.
They look decent to me, but I prefer my flamed ones... lots cheaper also

They look like these... but are for a SBF instead of a SBC

The big problem is the lack of bafles in them, especially with roller rockers. Throws oil up and around the breather cap and the push in style always leaks around the grommet. They do look great though, as far as ease of removal, the ones I have seen for SB Fords have screws that go in from the top of the cover and the counterbore in the cover is of different depth, causing some of the screws to bottom out in the head. Also the gasket rails are not wide enough to fully seal the gasket. Does take more time to remove the socket head screws on this particular type and get the gasket aligned right when installing. Maybe these one's advertised, are made different, the price is about the same for them though.
