Last weekend I got a good deal on some parts. I didn't necessarily need all of the parts, but I figured if some of them were in better shape than mine that I could save money in the long run by not paying for a bunch of body work. I think it was a pretty good score at probably half price. The parts came off of a 1972 Grabber that the seller had on a '77. I ended up getting a Grabber hood, both front fenders with small bumper, front valance and stone guard. I also got the deck lid with 5 pc Grabber spoiler, small rear bumper and rear valance.
so does that mean you now have 3 grabber hoods? I thought I remember you saying you bought another grabber hood a couple weeks ago also. you gotta spill the beans where youre looking if youve managed to snag two grabber hoods in the last month oops now people are going to be blowing up your inbox thinking you have two extra grabber hoods well maybe thatll keep you busy enough for me to find the next deal since I sold that other maverick I had.
Yeah, I bought one a couple of weeks ago for $225 that was in really good shape, with no rust and only a couple of small dings. This one is probably in the best condition of all, with no rust and only a few tiny dings. One of them is spoken for, one is actually on my Grabber and the third one I am going to keep because it might be a good idea to have a spare. Sorry, no extra hoods here! But I will have extra small bumpers, valances and fenders. Did you sell the Maverick today? I was doing some investigation yesterday in case we were going to throw it up on ebay.
I sold it last thursday to a guy that called only for the grabber hood. now thats what you call salesmanship........you sell a car as an accessory for the hood lol the guy that bought it is having it shipped to malysia to cut up and reproduce the parts starting with the grabber hood in steel not carbon fiber or fiber glass he said about 10 months from teh time they get the car in malaysia for the first hood to be unveiled so who knows maybe next year repops will be available SHHHH!!

lol yeah I paid for it so it stays until it falls off besides people call me and I say I still have parts left
