Was looking around on ebay since yesterday was payday, and i noticed something interesting:

Notice the front bumper! The owner says it is off of a VW Jetta. I can't say for sure if it looks good or not as it is not painted, but i think it at the VERY least looks interesting from a distance. I have never heard of this before...anyone else?

When my Sprint was new it ran a best of 15 flat. Only thing it had over stock was a pair of headers. 200 w/3spd manual. Still got the time slip.

You got a stock 200 6 Sprint to run 15 flat?

All the road tests of the day barely had it cracking the 17s.

    Not to nitpick or anything...

...but I wouldn't call a plastic shroud a bumper. The actual
bumper is under that shroud on a Jetta.

Might help with aerodynamics but I don't care for it.

I agree. One thing that I take great pride in my mav is that it is all metal. There is not fiberglass or plastic peices on it. IMO that big plastic peice would take away from the essence, if you will, of a maverick.

Yeah, i didn't really care for it either, and don't get me wrong...i certainly won't be putting one on my car! I just thought it was an interesting modification...one that i definitely haven't seen before. Gotta give credit to someone for trying something new. I think it is more of an aerodynamic mod than anything else.
