Anyone have any luck running Edelbrock intake with stock FEL Pro gaskets. I didn't want to buy another set if these would work.

i use felpros on my edelbrock aluminum intake and aluminum heads. no problems here. i run a bead of permatex ultra blue around the water jackets. i also use ultra blue instead of the end gaskets, but you'll get a lot of opinions on that. there was a post last week about that.:)

I have used only Felpro. I have done the sealant only at the back and front, and I have used the little cork gaskets in the kit. I had a leak at the back once, didn't use a thick enough bead at the back. Other than that, in 6 or 8 swaps, no problems either way.
