I have a 1971 Grabber orig 6 cyl w/AC. Now has 1989 mustang drive train. Have prchased a new compressor and condenser. Everything under the dash seems to be there. What else do I need for under the hood?

R134a expansion block, dryer for the same, custom lines at the least, if you want it to cool well, you'll need an electric fan. The compressor wire can be configured to work with the late model compressor and the vacuum system should be unaffected other than the addition of a later style heater control valve or use the factory one if it works.

Condenser fan. I've got a small pusher fan on my condenser, wired to a relay that comes on with the compressor.

Speaking of condensers, an aftermarket cross-flow condenser will do wonders for you.

X2, If the condenser you bought is the OEM serpentine type, I would definitely upgrade to the crossflow.

...either adding an electric condenser fan or using a radiator electric fan that comes on with your ac demand will work.
