Another Newbie from Ga. :) Signed up earlier but haven't posted before. I really enjoy reading everyones replies, lot's of information and nice folks. I've got an old 70' maverick (6 cylinder automatic with no options , just a basic grocery getter) that I tinker around with when I have extra time / money which isn't too often. I'm also a member of MCCI which is a great organization for maverick owners. :D

Welcome! You'll find several Georgia folks on this board and we are all nice folks. Great people to be around! Well...except maybe Frank (71gold):p :D .

Serioulsy, it is a great bunch. Under the general topics, look for a thread for Cruise-in in Georgia. We're planning to get together for a couple upcoming shows.

LilGreenMav; Nice to have you here. If you can make it to some of the shows, you will be surprised at how much attention your car will get. People just seem to love em. The Ford plant in Hapeville is having a show at 8:00am on the 16th. Bring your car on out. Also on that same afternoon, Tanger Outlet Mall in Locust Grove is having the Southern Cruisers last show of the year. Should be a big show. We would be all very glad to meet you.

Getting to be quite a few southern boys enlisting lately, just remember "Kentucky Rocks":D :D Now you guys just need to make it to the Round Up 2005, you all would have a hell of a convoy if you could all get together, hell I wuld be temped to drive down there and drive back to the round up with you, kind of like a power tour for mavericks and comets.

Ps welcome to the board.(y) Check out the MCCI
