9" rear end in a Comet

    70 Maverick 2 dr. modified street cruiser, 72 Comet tube chassis drag car
    Is it possible that a 9" rear end could have come in a 1973 Comet 4 door with a 302 stock from the factory?:confused:

    Never seen a stock 9" in a mav/comet. If your lucky you've got a stout 8" that will hold up very well to most street applications and still have a decent selection of parts/gear ratio too. I did a 9in swap from an old cougar with not too much fuss, a little wider though.
