    Hey everybody!
So I have myself one beautiful 74 Maverick, it's pretty well maintained and original but I have major plans and was wondering what you guys thought and could possibly give me some pointers as to what exactly I should do first.
The car has the inline 250 with a c4 auto tranny, both of which I plan on switching out. Keep in mind that I'm building this car for me, not to resell so if the value diminishes then that's not that big a deal to me.

I want to either build a mild street 302 with maybe 400hp or pull a 302 from a 1993 5.0 and just drop that in.
My concern however is between fuel injection vs carb. I know the fuel injectors are a little better for mileage I believe, however the carb can be tuned to be how I want it more easily than the FI.

Also I want to put a T5 tranny in the car instead of the c4 auto.

What do you guys think about this and which one do you think I should consider doing first?

Any and all opinions and assistance is greatly appreciated

    -Jon

Build the roller motor then do the t5 swap
