I just purchased a Maverick that came with 195-75-14 tires. I would like to change them for 70 or even 60 series if possible but I think the stock rims are 6 inches wide. Any ideas on what tire size would be the best fit.

My Maverick had 205/70-14 tires on stock 6" wheels when I got it. They fit well and looked right.

just had it confirmed that the stock 4 bolt 14 inch rim is 4 1/2 wide, so now I need to hunt for a 14 inch ford rim that 6 inches or wide, now that should be fun

4x4.5 bolt circle there is a few aftermarket wheels out there that will work with this pattern.

Might be time to swap to 5-bolt. There was a Maverick rear axle in a junk yard in Creedmoor, NC a few months ago. Don't know if its still there.
