72' 302 throttle cable question

    The wire snapped on the accelerator end of my original cable. I noticed Auto Krafters have a original but it is only listed as 75 to 77, are they different than a 72' model? Also autozone has a spectre universal but I'm somewhat confounded by how it works since it has no return spring on it. Any help appreciated. Thanks

    I think the difference on the 75-77 is how they attach to the gas pedal. If you use after market cable you just use a return spring with it.

    pardon my ignorance, where does the return spring mount?

    Different aftermarket companies utilize different mounting points for the return spring.
