This was on ebay. Says the ignition switch is on the dash http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6057&item=2438173769 So only the 69.5 had the switch there for sure? My parts car had the switch on the dash and orange front marker lights. I'll have to write down the Vin next time I'm at the wreckers. I think the one I had, had a horn ring?
Sounds like you car was a 1969 1/2. No real way to tell from the VIN, as they were only 1969 1/2 cars from April of 1969 until August of 1969. Even all of those were titled as a 1970.
