Hi everyone! New to the forum but I've been a lurker for a while lol!
Would anyone happen to know the part number of the backup light switch for a 69 1/2 automatic with a non-locking column or what other models shared this switch? I haven't had much luck searching the site or the rest of the interwebs. I can find plenty of switches for locking columns, but none for the non-locking ones when the ignition was in the dash. Thanks!

    Thanks!!
So if I read it right, I would need the 15520-C (SW-890-A) because it was "before 10/1/71?"
From what I've read, the "70" model year cars that were built early '69 had the ignition switch in the dash and a non-locking column, then later in '69 they moved the ignition switch to the column and added the locking mechanism. Does this sound about right? From what I've read, they changed switches when they moved the ignition.
Of course, I could just go out and look at the switch and see if it still has the part number tag on the wire lol!

Follow up: So, first I wanted to see if the switch just needed to be adjusted, as I noticed the slotted screw holes. I loosened the two screws and pushed it as far to the right (clockwise around the column) as the slots would allow. I hit the ignition and it turned over! I tightened the screws and tried it again; nothing. Loosened the screws again and pushed up, it turned over. While pushing up on it, I tightened the screws; nothing. With the screws tight and pushing up on it, it turned over. So now I'm thinking it just needs to be cleaned. I removed the switch, took the metal cover off (bent back the 4 tabs) and removed the slide inside. If anyone else tries this, be careful when you remove the slide as inside it is a smaller slide and two small springs and "ball bearings" and if you drop one of them, it may take you an hour or so to find it lol! I cleaned up all the old grease and in doing so, noticed a sliding "adjuster" on top of the switch that when the inside slide is all the way to the right (1st gear, or low), this adjuster can move the small internal slide that's inside the large slide. I cleaned everything up, added some fresh dielectric grease and put it back together. I reinstalled the switch and when I hit the ignition; nothing. I dropped the shifter to 1st and slid the adjuster a tiny bit to the left (you will feel and hear it adjust), put it back into Park and tried the ignition; nothing. Put it back into 1st and adjusted it a little more. Put it back into Park and tried it. It started! I put it neutral and it turned over again. I tried to start it in Drive and Reverse and got nothing. Back into Park and it starts! So, it looks like the switch was ok after all! It just needed to be cleaned up and if I hadn't removed it and taken it apart, I never would have noticed that external adjuster!
Thanks everyone for all your help and advice!
