hi, i'm Casey Powers, i live up northern California, in a small town called Fort Bragg. i got a 66' comet for free from my dad. i just got out of a divorce and she kept everything but my CHEVOTA, and my dad gave me the comet, it needs TLC, the body is staight but is rusting. i got a 302 w/ a C6 tranny. it needs all new brakes and trunk lid. i've been trying to find out what these cars match and trying research about them and not having any luck. i just want to convert it to disc brakes and a new truck lid, if i could have any help i would really appreciate it. and let me know what i could use off of other cars, thanks casey
to the board. This board covers 70 to 77 Comets/Mavericks. I'm sure someone will chime in on the 60's Comets....
'66/'67 Comets have the same platform as the '66/'67 Ford Fairlane. You'll have more luck finding out about parts interchange for your Comet on a Fairlane board. Good luck with your project.
