A freind of mine Knows someone who had been stockpileing
parts for several months to build a 1968 Mustang with a stroked 351w. He was going to pay someone to build the car for him and they had a Falling out (The guy took his money ,bought a bunch of parts for the car ...then started working on other peoples cars while the `68 sat out behind the garage.) This is what I got...
Brand New 6208 Hooker headers .with hadware ect.
Also the guy threw in a set of Earls Pressure seal aluminum Gaskets, still in the package. Total Summit price approx $450.00.

    I paid the guy $250.00 !

That is a SWEET deal!!! Now some jethot or other nice coating and you are in business. I just paid 609.00 from jethot for mine so you know you did VERY well.

Don't you just love a good deal... I just landed a 92 Explorer the EB edition for $400.00 the guy couldn't get the transmission to work right and the trans shop said it was going to cost 1,700
to repair it. Then the thing wouldn't start for him anymore and he said the hell with it. he was asking 500.00 but I had to kick him while he was down and told him I could only give $400.00

The transmission works great once you put fluid in it and the start solenoid was bad.
But it need a state inspection and wouldn't you know the muffler had a hole in it. To end this long story I now have 475.00 in a very nice running Explorer

YA KNOW YA GOT A GOOD DEAL WHEN YA GET A 69.5 MAV FOR FREE

when i was 14 (2 years ago  ) i was willing to do any thing for a car so i got talkin to my aunt and she said she had an old ford she would sell me for 100 but i didn't even have 15 bucks at the time so i told my aunt i would clear some trees for her and she said fine. so what i did was this

the trees she wanted cleared started growing 15 years ago durring a flood and were always pretty close to the water table and had shallow root systems. well so all idid was got my 100 foot log chain wrapped it about 5 foot up the tree and hocked it to the back of my jeep backed up about 10 foot and hammered the gas well i guess it wasent free cause i wasted 2 tanks of gas on the tree pullin but i had alot of fun the only thing that went wrong was that i dented the roof of my jeep acouple of times, tore off my bumper and hitch, and cracked my windshield... ... ... ... also about 3 months later my tranny went out o well it was a pos and i got my mav tyo replace the jeep

My first car was a 1971 Ford Pinto (1980). We paid $400 to one of my mom's friends for it, we towed it home knowing it needed a new engine. One week later she returned our check, said something like "I can't do that to you". Guess she thought she was ripping us off.

Now they are selling them on ebay for 2000-3000 bucks. Go figure

While we are on the subject

Ok Speaking of FABLOUS deals, I am in the process of taking possesion of a P.O.S. Station wagon, a 29 ford roadster, and what appears to be(havent been able to get a full view of it yet) a 32ish chevy. All because the home owners assocation wants teh house cleaned up. Told them I would do the job for free if I get to keep the salvage. :bananaman I have to wait 30 days for legal reasons(last notice and such). The Ford does still have an engine in it, and all the wire wheels are in great shape as well as the grille/raditor. :bananaman  :bananaman Sorry juss had to tell someone, who could appriacte it. My wife juss says "Park the cars somewhere else" even tho she knows there is no shot of that happening. Well may all of you come across good deals.
