A round grille maverick emblem is now up to $57 on ebay with three days of bidding left. Why are people willing to pay so much for this little piece of crap lol? I need one but I just can't justify spending that much money on a little piece of plastic.

They are bidding so much because they are getting harder to find. Almost all of them fell off the cars when they were new. They no longer make them and they will never be reproduced. For all these reasons....they do go rather high. I have seen them go a lot higher,....and this one will too I imagine.

i will sell one...eventually, I just have to remember which one of the two belonged to my mav originally...stupid sentimental reasons, (trying to keep as many original parts as possible)
