ok so i have an 86 5.0l with the carb manifold on it and was wondering to make it work with my 76 c4 tranny all i have to do is get a c-4 157 tooth flexplate with 50oz balance??? is that right? the engine came with a AOD would that be really hard to put in my 76 maverick as far a fab work goes? any info would be nice.
Yep. You can get a B&M SFI approved 50 oz 157 tooth flexplate from Jegs for about 60 bucks. (If it hasn't gone up)
