5.0/302 heads?

    Any body know if older heads like 1970-73 302 heads will work on an 89 302 block with the efi intake. thanks

    Yes. I'm going to be running "65 289 heads on a "91 roller block, and using mustang EFI. Will work no problem.(y)

    I would like to point out if you are running stock press-in studs, you might want to look into getting them pinned. If it was a 289 hp motor, you won't need them.

    Just a thought, E7TE heads have worked well for me, 13.59 at 103.42 in a 72 Ranchero. We opened the exhaust ports up a little, and nothing else.

    Yea, I'm putting threaded studs in as we speak.
