4 door floor shift??

My dad told me when i was a kid they had a 73 4 door maverick ldo buckets and 302, ive never seen a 4 door floor shift car???

 

i have at the J-yard but the shifter was gone when i got there.

My 74 Comet 4dr had the LDO interior, with bucket seats. The C-4 shifter was on the column....

 

my '76 has the ldo door panels with a bench and colom shifter.

My old 75 4 parts car was an LDO, buckets, and the floor shift with v8, A/C and power disks, all this for the grand sum of $100 . But it came out of middle Georgia, a little town called Jackson, right in the middle of Butts county, and there are so few Maverick nuts around, especially in middle GA , the guy was just glad is was gone out of his yard. Car only had 76,xxx miles on it to boot.

wow kinda odd to see a 4 door flor shift!

 

Used to see Fairmont 4 doors with 4 speeds all the time.

 

Shift it!

I think an automatic floor shifter was optional with any Maverick/Comet with buckets seats. You could order a 3 speed on the floor with a bench seat. I have never driven a 3 speed column shifted car.
