    Hello folks,
We are new comet owners, on the hunt for two 3pt seatbelt systems to replace drivers/passengers belts. If anyone has the female / bottom end (bench seat, 73 4 door comet) I'd love to buy them. But, I am also interested in buying new belts to fully replace the whole system. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding the best website to purchase them from? I found a link on another thread that recommended the retro style starburst retractables from seatbeltstore.com, but they are 120 a piece!! Any thoughts on a cheaper source that's compatible with the current hardware?
    Thank you!!

If you have the style of seat belt I think you have, they are impossible to find. That style of buckle was very prone to breakage.

NEW belts will not be cheap.

Thank you! Steve has been awesome, and they've been quite reasonably priced.

Great to hear to had a chat with him, really helped me out with my set that I got for my 73 Comet 2 door. If you like, you can go to my gallery and see the set that I got from him. Did you mention that yours was for a 4 door. There was another member who I sent over to Steve and she got a set made up for her 74 Comet 4 door.....
They custom manufacture all their own belts to current DOT safety standards, everything brand new made to last, something you will not have to worry about for alongtime, especially when it comes to seatbelts/safety! Good luck!
Get the metal buckles, last longer and look exactly like the OEM....

Thanks for the info! I'm going to see about getting a set of black retractable seat belts for my front bucket seats.
