What after market 351w intakes fit under a regular grabber hood? I want to go with an edelbrock air gap but dont think it will fit...

I tried a air gap and it wouldn't fit under mine! I am using an reg performer RPM and it clears fine..I am using a 1"open spacer under my Holley and have a drop base air cleaner from AC Delco which uses the same design as the big block chevy air cleaner...fits perfectly!

I had a torker 2 on my old Mav with a 351W, I used a Moroso dropped base 14" air cleaner..... It cleared a stock hood.....

Yes sir, the drop base air cleaner is a must with the 351W., due to the extra deck height of the engine. I too tryed the RPM airgap. I now have a Torqer ll intake, until I get a cowl induction hood.:tiphat:

Plenty of room under my flat hood with a "Motorsport" intake. Looks like a Perf RPM clone to me.
