So my brother picked up a 1969 351w yesterday to throw into his maverick. I've done this swap on my comet and know what goes into it and how tight it is. I ended up modifying a set of hooker headers years ago. I was wondering if anyone knows what if any exhaust manifolds will fit without modifying the towers. I know it will be tight but we really don't want to shave the towers right now.

If you decide to use exhaust manifolds I have them. Email me direct when you decide.

My 351W came with manifolds, and it was out of a 71-73 Mustang. The manifolds were not even close to fitting. The upper A-arm bolts want to be in the same place. Also, depending on how the motor sits on the engine mounts, you might want to get a shorter oil filter. Mine was rubbing the shock tower.

Yeah when I did the swap on my 73 comet I ended up using headers. I made some 6901's work. It took a lot of modifications. So I was hoping to just use some stock manifolds in my brothers car just so we could get the swap done.
