    is a 302 from a 72 maverick have roller rockers and are the internals forged or hypertecktick.

    If it is stock, it will not have roller rockers. And I'm not sure but I think the stock pistons are cast.

    The one and only good thing about a 72 302 is that it has more compression than a 73!:dancing:

    roller 302's didn't start til the mid 80's same with the forged pistons. :)

    late 85 started roller lifters. I have a 85 block in the garage, It has the spider bosses but had flat tapped lifters.
