235/55R17 are 27.2" tall and only 9.3" wide. im looking at putting them on 17x7" MB Old School Wheels in the rear with a 4" BS will they tuck up in there without having to trim/roll the fender lip, i used aftermarket autokrafters quarter panels and my paint is now 9years old mostly sitting in sun, so if i roll the fender lip im afraid the paint will crack. since i do a fair amount of smoking the tires, i also need cheap tires and these are around $67-75 on discounttiredirect.com which is ideal. anyone run a 27" tall tire without issue or minimal modification? keep in mind im worried my paint will crack if i roll the fender lip.
