2008 Gathering Shirts........

Well the artwork put me behind because the place that did it last year doesn't do artwork anymore. So..... trying to keep it in the family I got Travis(modmav71 I think) from right here on these boards. He was in the middle of moving but still came through. Thank you Travis!!

Anyways, I'm taking orders now for shirts and I know it is short notice but I need to know by Jul 7, and even by that date if you are not attending I probably won't be able to get it to you until after the Gathering. The price is still $16.00 up to an XL. Add $2 for a XXL and another $2 for a XXXL making it $20. Sizes this year go all the way down to a kids S but he is working on maybe a kids XS. He told me the S is like a 6/8. We didn't get that last year. So here it is and please email me with your order at w_frahler @ msn . com

Oh yeah this is the back, it will have something very similar to last years shirt on the left breast.

C'mon down with your Comet and maybe we could fix that. All these cars were at the Gathering last year. We would love to put a comet on there just like to support the people who attend by putting their car on a shirt.

Nice looking design and lots of good colors. That will look good on a black or a white tee shirt.

 

Glad you guys like the design! Wish I could have done a little more to it but there was just no time. Moving is a major PITA! Ward promises more time next year and I have new "toys" to work with in designing so it should be fun. Wish I could be at the gathering but I just moved to Sebring, FL so thats outta the question. You guys have fun and maybe I will see you next year!

It has been brought up that there are no Comets in the shirt design. This is not by choice, well maybe it is, but the choice was made because of participation. The first year the cars were chosen from cars that were definately going to be there. This year the cars were chosen from attendees from last year. There was not one Comet there. The MCG would like nothing more than to have a Comet or 4 in the design but some of you comet owners need to show up. This is kind of a benefit of attending and a thank you for participating. Can't guarantee that your car will be on the shirt but attending sure helps its chances.

 

if the 4 door wasn't a brickette i was planning on bringing it this year. we will have to wait until i get the new car done i guess.

Well I talked to the shirt guy today and when I showed up he actually had a sample ready for me and gave it to me to boot. So I'll be advertising around E-Town now. He didn't do the left breast print yet he just wanted to show us the quality. Here it is.
