i was watching the new episode of horsepower today on spike and they were at a mustang meet. the first one looked like a 73 that was going down the track and the second one was a 74 or 75 blue grabber waiting to do a track run.

That was from the NMRA finals last Oct in Bowling Green. The yellow car is Don Bowles, and is pretty well known. I didn't get the other guys name, as we were both talking with people in the lanes before racing, but did snap this pic...

I was racing a friends 86 notch lol. You can't swing a dead cat around without hitting a black 86 notch there! I almost got into the wrong car a couple of times...had to finally hang MY helmet from the window net hook so I could be sure :)

That's a nice looking car. I wonder why he has "Grabber" deleted from all the body panels?

And as a side note, Mr Bowles crashed a Mustang he was racing in NMRA very badly last year. It is currently in a friend of mines chassis shop getting repaired. He said the engine arrived from Roush last week to be installed...he's been salivating over it ever since lol...I may go over to take a look, but not sure I can post any pics. I'll ask and see.
