Pieced together some flatbed scans to present a 2-page spread from the original '72 brochure that came with my Mav 4-door. Among the Maverick's boasts in 1972 was a "fully transistorized" radio. Seems a little late for this to be a hot selling point, or were some companies still putting tube radios in cars?
Fish - I see you know the brochure. Looks like an Al Green album cover. And I mean that in a good way.
Here is a link I found that has alot of good scans of ford/Mercury Brochures http://www.fedrelandsvennen.no/amcar/oldart.html scroll down to Auto Brochures and click on ford or Mercury.
