Hello everyone I came acrossed some bad things let's just say I hit a water passage in my head. I have 302 heads from a different block and because it's a later block it has different rockers I was just wondering if I could use this head and the stock head. Anything will help

I wouldn't mix and match old and new like that even if the pushrods did work out to be the same. Doubtful though due to the roller lifters used on those 94's.

Compression ratios and flow/burn characteristics are likely quite different and even though a lower compression/rpm motor may not be adversely affected as much.. it would still be one of those.."I had to do it just to get my car home from another state" type of scenarios.

The 94 pedestal mount rocker style heads will work on your older block...We do it all the time...You may need custom length pushrods though. Check your rocker geometry and pushrod length and be certain. Do you know what kind of late 302 heads you have...Casting #s' will help...
However...I would use either a pair of later heads or a pair of older heads...Dont mix N match.

I've done it, push rod length is the biggest issue. I'm running 93 E7TE heads on a 73 block.

also consider the valve springs. a roller cam valve spring will be a heavier spring rate than the flat tappet cam needs.
it sounds like your considering using only one newer head on the motor. it will run but not smoothly. change both heads.
